Had CEL on Volvo S80 2002 Was failed catalytic converters. After 18 yrs guess they gave up the ghost (264k). Work was done in timely manner. Had to wait on parts. Got one of the loaner cars. Saw the numbers of before and after, and infrared temp scans. All was explained clearly. Was aware I was going to support the economy when present final bill. Too soon to tell if they are working but no CEL after one day! Think I found a new place to take the Volvo for repair.

You can do NO better than Kamphaus Automotive! After years of failings, we moved here 2 years ago, hoping that Lurie Children’s Hospital could save our daughter. After reconstructive brain surgery, we continue to face exhaustive adversity. Upon our arrival, years of ignored vehicle maintenance came to be. Repeatedly, in these last 2 years, we have had the luxury of not fretting or doubting our automotive maintenance needs. Today, once again, our extended family at Kamphaus has responded to our automotive needs with the continued warmth and professionalism we’ve come to appreciate so much. With 2 very ill children, and nonstop multiple weekly hospital trips, having this world class PIT CREW on call continues to bring comfort when needed. We love ya’ll!
