Professional and Friendly. My 2007 Toyota Rav4 suddenly showed a strange high pitch noise under the hood. I went Kamphaus auto care for a free inspection. Mr.Rich Kamphaus, one of the most friendly men among the auto repair industry, checked the suv and immediately diagnosed the problem with the alternator. Scheduled the repair for the same day and he gave me a free loner car to drive until the work has done. This is my third experience with them. Prices are comparable with other auto repair shops. You may get cheaper prices somewhere else. But here the difference is this..... you will get a free diagnosis and free estimate, also free loner car if needed, the staff are professional and Mr.Rich is extremely friendly and responsible. They stand for their repair warranty. My suv shows a strange low "tick, tick" noise from the steering column,when turning the car in parking lots or at very slow speed. He checked and correctly diagnosed it too. He explained to me by showing a diagram of the steering system and he did not insist a repair which causes $475. He could have insist a repair and make some money, but he explained it as a minor issue and no problem with the function or the safety of the car under normal safe driving. It was very nice to hear !!!

Prior to the other day, I visited Kamphaus on two other occasions. The first time was this past summer when I dropped in with a flat wheelbarrow tire which you inflated promptly with extremely courteous customer service and a smile. When you gave me the inflated tire, I asked what I owed, and the response was nothing. On the second occasion, about a month ago, I brought in a marine battery for a sump pump back-up to be checked and possibly re-charged. You tested the battery and found that it was not worth recharging. Again, prompt service follow-up, and again no charge. The other day, I returned to see if you could replace a broken running board on my 2008 TrailBlazer. You promptly contacted the manufacturer, and gave me the price. I gave you the order. My impression of you and your staff is that you are extremely courteous and positively customer service oriented. I look forward to a long business relationship with you and your shop. Thank you! Knowledgeable and polite staff I've taken my car here for both minor and major work and every time the guys behind the desk are polite, calm, and professional. I've never felt I was being condescended to or treated differently just because I'm a single woman - which happens too often at other shops.

I always recommend Kamphaus! Every time I bring my car to Kamphaus, I end up calling a friend to rave about them. Honestly -- the friendly service, the explanations, the general feeling of not getting ripped off -- everything makes me want to come back (as much as my pocketbook allows, that is...)

Great Service Good quality work at a fair price. The part I had replaced ended up being defective. Although this is a rare occurrence, they replaced the part again without question.
